MIAL Day Hotel

The recently completed luxurious Day Hotel is located at the Mumbai International Airport Terminal 2. The motif of a tree is used as in places as a jali to divide the space, and in some areas as decorative mirrored panelling. The rooms are small but spacious. The use of glass partitions instead of gypsum allows for a larger room. The materials used are simple and mirror is used strategically to amplify the space.
