Jindal House, Vasind

This house has an un-conventional plan, free-flowing with internal and external open spaces intertwined with the fully and partly enclosed spaces. It is a tropical house with open sit-outs, verandas and decks. The house lends itself to outdoor living, as it faces the front lawn with the hills as a backdrop. The biggest challenge was to design and construct this house in 9 months. It is located in the Jindal Sports Complex compound, opposite the factory at Vasind. It is a 90 minute drive from Mumbai on the Nasik Highway, in Maharashtra, Western India.
